Development >>

Two major housing developments are underway on Mount Tzouhalem. The forests have been cleared, the roads are being built and the houses are soon to come. In total, almost 1,400 units will be added when these projects are completed.

The Kingsview Comprehensive Development Plan allows for up to 1190 residential units, comprised of single family detached homes, multi-residential units, and townhouses, as well as an additional 189 secondary units, for a total of 1379 units. The plan also includes limited supporting retail and a network of parks and trails.

Genoa Reach Estates is a brand new 21 lot small acreage subdivision. These are bare land strata lots.

These projects are built on private land and are not part of the Municipal Forest Reserve.

The end result is a city with a population almost two thirds the size of Duncan being built on Mt. Tzouhalem.
